If you have an existing account on the Old Portal (Portal V1), this page explains what changes, what carries over, and how to complete the migration to FPT AI Factory Next.

What's better

FPT AI Factory Next brings three core improvements over the Old Portal:

What carries over

When you migrate, the following are transferred automatically:

• Credits — your VN Wallet (VND) and JP Wallet (JPY) balances transfer in full, in their original currencies, shown separately with their own Tenant ID. Each wallet keeps its Voucher, Top-up, and (for VN Wallet) Billing plan actions. Your total balance is also shown converted to an approximate USD value. Prices are shown based on current exchange rates and may change daily.

• Migration bonus — whether you receive the $20.00 credit depends on your top-up history on the Old Portal. When applied, the bonus is usable for all services and is valid for 3 months from the date it's added.

• If you have never topped up on the Old Portal — your existing credits are still transferred, but the $20.00 bonus does not apply.

• If you have topped up at least once on the Old Portal — your existing credits are transferred and you'll also receive the $20.00 migration bonus.

• Billing Plans — any active Billing Plans are migrated to FPT AI Factory Next and re-activated one by one. Only one plan can be active at a time, and all benefits are preserved.

• GPU VM data — GPU VM databases migrate automatically together with your VMs.

• Account deactivation — your Old Portal account is closed automatically after migration completes.

⚠️ Before you migrate — export your data first

Your models, configurations, billing history, and audit logs do NOT transfer automatically. Please export them from the Old Portal before you begin.

(GPU VM databases are the exception — see above — they migrate automatically together with your VMs.)

• Serverless Inference currently offers a selection of models — not the full catalog yet.

• The API Gateway on AI Factory Next is available at https://token-api.fpt.ai.

• API keys created on the current (Old Portal) AI Factory will no longer work. Generate new API keys on AI Factory Next before switching over any integrations.

Before you migrate

⚠️ Please review before starting

• VM status check: Make sure your VMs are not in "Processing" status before starting migration.

• No downtime for your VMs: your running virtual machines stay active and uninterrupted throughout the migration process — they are not stopped or terminated.

• Billing continues during migration: your balance keeps being deducted as normal while migration is in progress, so make sure you have sufficient credits before starting.

• Export what won't transfer automatically: models, configurations, billing history, and audit logs must be downloaded from the Old Portal before you migrate.

How to migrate

1. Go to the FPT AI Factory Next portal URL and sign in with your Old Portal account. You'll land directly on the migration page.

2. On the migration page, you have three options:

• Start migration — proceed with migrating this account (enabled once all three confirmation boxes below are checked).

• Sign in with another account — switch to a different login if you meant to migrate a different account.

• Back to current platform — exit without migrating and return to the Old Portal; nothing is changed or transferred.

1. Review what will be transferred — your Wallet balances (VN and JP), the total balance in USD, and (if you qualify) the $20 migration bonus are shown on the page. Click View details for more information.

2. Check all three confirmation boxes to confirm you understand:

• Your Old Portal account will be closed.

• You've exported your important data (GPU VM databases migrate automatically).

• You're ready to upgrade now.

1. Click "Start migration" — setup runs automatically (about 7 seconds):

• Creates your new Organization and Workspace (if not already set up).

• Transfers your VN and JP Wallet balances.

• Adds the $20 migration bonus, if you qualify (see "Migration bonus" above).

• Migrates your active Billing Plan(s), one at a time.

• Deactivates your Old Portal account.

• Marks migration as complete.

1. Complete the onboarding survey — a few quick questions about your use case.

2. Land on your Workspace Dashboard — migration is complete.

If migration fails

If something goes wrong during setup, the process rolls back automatically and your Old Portal account is restored to its original state. Your credits and data are not affected.
