Why are requests routed to Japan?

Q: Why are my API requests routed to Japan (JP) even though I am in Vietnam?

A: This is the standard behavior of our Hybrid Routing system, designed to ensure the best possible service quality.

While GeoIP priority aims to route requests to the server closest to you (Vietnam), the system also analyzes two other critical factors in real-time:

  1. System Capacity: If the server cluster in Vietnam is currently experiencing high load or traffic spikes.

  2. Network Latency: If the internet connection in the Vietnam region is experiencing instability or delays.

In such cases, the system automatically redirects requests to the Japan (JP) region where resources are available and the connection is more stable. The primary goal is to guarantee High Availability, ensuring your application remains uninterrupted and responsive, even if local network infrastructure encounters issues.

However, if your application has strict security or performance requirements, please consider switching to Dedicated Inference. This service provides exclusive resources, allowing you to lock the processing Region (ensuring Data Residency compliance) and guaranteeing consistent response times unaffected by other users.
