1. FPT Cloud Monitoring Service Plan

To register for FPT Cloud Monitoring, you need to be granted a service quota. Please contact us if you wish to use this service.

2. View Workspace List

Step 1: Log in to the FPT Cloud Portal

Step 2: On the FPT Cloud Console Portalmenu, click Monitoring. The workspace list will be displayed as shown below.

Workspace information includes:

  • _Workspace name:_the name of the Workspace. This name cannot be modified during use.

  • _Package Type:_The service package of the Workspace. Currently, FMON offers the following service packages: P0, P1, P2, P3, P4.

  • _Status:_The operational status of the Workspace.

  • _Created At:_The time the Workspace was created.

  • _Metric Usages:_The amount of metric data ingested from the 1st day of the current month to the present. The unit of measurement is metric time series.

  • _Log Usages:_The amount of log data ingested from the 1st day of the current month to the present. The unit of measurement is GB.

  • _Trace Usages:_The amount of trace data ingested from the 1st day of the current month to the present. The unit of measurement is GB.

3. Managing a Workspace

3.1. Viewing a Workspace in Detail

Step 1: Log in to the FPT Cloud Portal at https://console.fptcloud.com/

Step 2: On the FPT Cloud Portalmenu,**click Monitoring to display the list of workspaces

Step 3: Click the workspace name to view details, displaying the detailed information screen for that workspace.

3.2. Configuration Tab

Step 1: Log in to the FPT Cloud Portal at https://console.fptcloud.com/

Step 2: On the FPT Cloud Portalmenu, click Monitoring to display the workspace list

Step 3: Click the workspace name to view details, displaying the detailed information screen for that workspace.

Step 4: Click to select the "Configuration" tab.

The displayed information includes:

  • Dashboard information

  • Dashboard ID: The ID of the Dashboard page

  • Dashboard URL: Dashboard page URL information

  • Contact Point

  • Basic Authentication – Username

  • Basic Authentication – Password

  • Webhook URL

  • Data Sources

  • Endpoint - remote, write, query URL: Endpoint for Metric, Log, Trace

  • Datasource ID: ID of Metric, Log, Trace

  • Data Source Secret: Password

3.3. Add Data Tab

Provide complete integration instructions for infrastructure services, applications, and monitor endpoints.

Step 1: Log in to the FPT Cloud Portal at https://console.fptcloud.com/

Step 2: On the FPT Cloud Portalmenu,**click Monitoringto display the workspace list

Step 3: Click the workspace name to view details, displaying the detailed information screen for that workspace.

Step 4: Click the "Add data" tab.

3.4. User Management Tab

This feature allows users on the portal to conveniently and consistently manage their FMON Grafana Dashboard accounts with their FPT ID accounts.

Step 1: Log in to the FPT portal cloud at https://console.fptcloud.com/

Step 2: On the FPT Cloud Portalmenu, click Monitoring to display the workspace list

Step 3: Click the workspace name to view details, displaying the detailed information screen for that workspace.

Step 4: Click to select the "User Management" tab.

3.5. Quota and Package Tab

Manage package information and resource quotas for customers currently in use.

Step 1: Log in to the FPT Cloud Portal at https://console.fptcloud.com/

Step 2: On the FPT Cloud Portalmenu, click Monitoring to display the workspace list

Step 3: Click the workspace name to view details, displaying the detailed information screen for that workspace.

Step 4: Click to select the "Quota and Package" tab.

For Custom, Trial, and Base packages (no longer supported)

For new packages (P0 – P4)

5.3.7. IP Access Control Tab

Enable IP access controlto limit access to the Monitoring System to only trusted IPs.All IPs not on the whitelist will be denied access.

By default, IP access controlis disabled, meaning the Monitoring System is open to all IPs.Once enabled, all access will be blocked, including previously permitted IPs. You must addtrusted IPs to the whitelist to restore access.

To enable it, click the Enable IP Access Control button. The interface will display as follows:

Users will add IPs to grant access to the Dashboard, Metric, Log, and Trace endpoints.

To add an IP/Range:

  • Click the Whitelist IP/Range button in the upper-right corner.

  • Enter the IP addresses to add to the whitelist (multiple IPs can be entered at once)

  • Click the green checkmark icon to whitelist.

The IPs will be moved to the whitelisted status.

If whitelisting is successful, the IP will have a whitelisted status**.**With this status, users can access the endpoint using that IP address.

If unsuccessful, the IP will have a whitelist failedstatus and users will not be able to access the endpoint. With this status, users can re-whitelist by clicking the retry icon.

To remove an IPfrom the whitelist, the user clicks the Recycle Bin icon to delete it.

The IP status changes to Blacklisted.

If removal is successful, the IP will disappear from the list, and users will not be able to access the endpoint.

If removal is unsuccessful, the status will be Blacklist Failed and users will still be able to access the endpoint.

To disable IP access control, users click the Disable IP Access Control button at the bottom of the screen.

Once IP Access Control is disabled, the system will permanently delete all of the above configurations, and the Monitoring system will be accessible from any IP address.
